The Waiting Game.

Hope everyone is doing OK.

Over the last few months, my health has taken a turn for the worse. Here’s what’s been happening:

  • I have been struggling with my migraines, my medications don’t seem to calm them down. Nothing seems to be able to settle them.
  • I was also recently diagnosed with Tinnitus (which is ringing in the ears), but they are unable to explain where they come from as my hearing is normal. The Tinnitus does effect me hearing certain pitches, which is very frustrating.
  • My eyesight has become a lot worse. The optometrist cannot explain what is wrong with it even after a field test.
  • I also have a left facial droop which is becoming worse, my cheek has become sunken and has minimal movement.
  • I also tilt to the left side.

I have expressed these changes to my GP for the last few months, but they just blame my Mental Health for the issues instead of looking at the changes. After getting my eyes tested and my ears checked and diagnosed the Doctor listened and finally ordered MRI scans to see if they can find anything. Now it’s time to wait. Here’s hoping there’s nothing sinister.

  1. Please post an update as able. I pray for answers and restoration. There must be a physician able to get to the root of things. Perhaps a homeopath can help.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. I will update when available. I hope the doctor will get to the root of things too? I will look into that thanks for the tip. ?

  2. I had issues that the medical doctor could not explain and default to mental health issues. Meanwhile, I have gone to a naturopathic who has changed my thyroid medication to a natural compounded form and that has helped with some of the symptoms and stabilized my TSH from bouncing from hypo to hyperthyroid. Also, on medical cannabis for nerve pain and a huge difference in all of my symptoms. I am in a country where this is legal. Never did get a diagnosis, but feeling much better physically and mentally.

    1. That’s awesome, even without a diagnosis you are at least feeling better I so happy for you that you got some help one way. Where I am medical cannabis isn’t legal so I’m not able to get help with that I think this will be my only hope as also over the years of being put on trial drugs has now caused damage to my liver they are doing the last test on this to see if I have cirrhosis. Medication usage is hard now as a lot effect the liver, I use lots of ice and physio. Thanks for taking the time to comment I appreciate it. ?

  3. If you are in a country with legal hemp, purchase high CBD full spectrum hemp oil. Make sure that the company is organic and third party lab tested results. It can help with many problems (especially sleep) and once you sleep well you are somewhat on the way to recovery. Your adrenals rest and so does your brain. Always start low and go slow. You start with about 0.25 ml/day for 3 days and increase 0.1 ml every 3 days until you feel better and if feel worse start to back up the doseage to where you feel good. Usually less than 1 ml/ day is required for most people of average size and weight.
